Common questions

Is the data fetched live or cached?
100% live. Every time you send a message in Database Mode, the AI fetches fresh data directly from your clinic's database at that moment. Nothing is cached or pre-loaded.
Can the AI edit or delete my records?
No. The AI Assistant is read-only. It can only retrieve and display information — it cannot create, modify, or delete any records in your system. It's purely an intelligent search and display tool.
Why can't I see another vet's cases?
The AI enforces role-based privacy. Veterinarians, receptionists, para-vets, and lab technicians only see records they personally created. Only the Clinic Director has full clinic-wide access.
What language does it understand?
Primarily English. You can ask in any natural phrasing — formal, casual, abbreviated, or conversational. It understands common veterinary terminology and abbreviations like CBC, OPD, FNA, IV, etc.
What is General Mode and who can use it?
General Mode uses AI to answer veterinary knowledge questions — drug dosages, differentials, clinical protocols, WSAVA guidelines. It's available to Clinic Directors and Veterinarians only.
Does it use AI credits?
Yes. Each message uses AI credits managed by your clinic's administrator. The Director can monitor usage and remaining balance at any time — just ask the AI: "Show AI usage".
What if I ask about something not in the database?
If no matching records are found, the AI says so clearly and suggests how to refine your search — for example, trying a phone number or date range. It never invents or guesses data.
Can I see all records at once?
Results are paginated at 50 records per response to keep answers fast and readable. Just say "next 50" or "next page" to continue browsing. The AI always tells you the total count upfront.
